Evolution of Dance
September 28, 2009
Evolution of Dance is the finale to Laipply’s show called “Inspirational Comedy”. His website describes the show as “combining his thoughts about life and change with humor”. In 2002, he began closing many of his college, high school and corporate appearances with his unusual dance medley. It soon became a “crowd favorite”.
In the video, Laipply dances to a soundtrack that plays through various popular songs ranging from Elvis Presley to MC Hammer and Michael Jackson. During its initial rise in popularity, it amassed over 10 million views in under two weeks and was featured on CNN, MSN, E!, USA Today, Good Morning America, The Today Show, and AOL. Judson tells the story behind the creation of the Evolution of Dance in a video interview available on StayTunedTV.
Laipply recently created Evolution of Dance 2, a continuation of his Evolution of Dance video, featuring songs ranging from James Brown to Soulja Boy. The video is available on YouTube. Since its release on January 9, 2009 the video has garnered over 6 million views.
