che si sa vuol dire recipiente. in inghilterra c'e' un paesino che e' scritto clough, sud di londra. a nord del paesino lo pronunciano clou, a sud claff. e allora....?

What a weird country is this where I heard that turd,bird and gyrd rhyme with nerd.

money equivale a denaro. bene, in tutti gli usa dicono mani, ma a new york e' moni. better, e' una della parole con piu' varianti che io conosca. betar, beta, beter, bete, beder, bedar, beda. poi in uk,a seconda di dove vieni la u e' pronunciata diversamente. a nord but i'm hungry (ma ho fame) e' but am hungry. al sud e' bat am hangry o bot am hongry. i am i em.... l'ascensore in inglese e' lift. in usa e' elevator. il marciapiede e' pavement (peivment) in uk,in usa e' sidewalk (saidwok). infatti in inglese la elle di walk, talk, ecc... non si pronuncia... come non si pronuncia la b di bomber (bom-er) di cumb (pettine) com- molti non pronunciano le g finali dei gerundi vedi talking, eating.... wokin..... itin, ma in irlanda e scozia le evidenziano ancor di piu'. sean connery parla con un accento che si potrebbe definire bolognese. per dire james lui fa geimsch. per dire say lui... scei....poi australia, nuova zelanda e sud africa sono accenti pazzeschi. io che sono meio amerigano nun capivo un acca i primi tempi a sidney. ci sono stato un anno e mezzo.

Dopo tutta questa discussione, non sono piu' cosi' sicuro di sapere come si pronuncia "tackle"...

Sta a vedere che si pronuncia veramente "teikel" ??
