ummm nessuno che mi parla bene di mcafee.... antivirus e firewall assieme...

cmq il firewall di mcafee mi ha parato 486843 attacchi al mio computer.

C'è "Symantec removal utility" (il nome del file è SymNRT.exe... così si trova subito ) che.... non cancellerà proprio tutto tutto tutto.... ma almeno evita la formattazione ... se vi accontentate

l mio sito di riferimento è http://www.av-comparatives.org/ , sito indipendente ed obiettivo al quale fanno riferimento in molti in tutto il mondo.

Riporto, qui di seguito, LA CLASSIFICA dei risultati degli ultimi test:

Riconoscimento virus, trojans, malware, script, worms, backdoors, macro, ecc, CONOSCIUTI (231.088 files in totale)

01° - F-Secure, Kaspersky e AVK con il 99,9% rilevati
02° - McAfee al 99,8%
03° - Symantec (Norton) al 99,7%
04° - Nod 32 con il 99,6%
05° - TrustPort al 99,1%
06° - F-Prot al 98,1%
07° - AntiVir al 97,9%
08° - BitDefender al 97,7%
09° - Avast al 97,3%
10° - Panda, Dr Web al 95,1%
11° - Norman 92,4%
12° - AVG al 90,3%
13° - VBA32 al 80,5%

E fin qui, chi ha Kaspersky, per esempio, può esultare.....

Un ulteriore test effettuato, rileva aspetti più considerevoli su quanto ci si possa sentire sicuri con il proprio antivirus; il test riguarda 8745 NUOVI virus ecc, quindi NON conosciuti e, di conseguenza, NON nei database delle librerie degli antivirus; quindi riguarda la PURA capacità del software di rilevare i NUOVI files malevoli

E qui si fa tutto più divertente....:

Per concludere il quadro, riporto (fonte sempre av-comparatives.org) i numeri di falsi positivi rilevati da ciascun software:

01° - Symantec - 0 falsi
02° - McAfee - 1
03° - AVG, Norman - 3
04° - Kaspersky, F-Prot e F-Secure - 4
05° - NOD32, BitDefender e Avast - 5
06° - AVK - 6
07° - Panda - 7
08° - TrustPort - 8
09° - AntiVir - 25
10° - Dr.Web - 46
11° - VBA32 - 73

Da qui potete scaricare il report completo.
Da questi test secondo me il migliore è NOD32, data anche la sua capacità di scovare nuovi virus, anche perchè per i virus già noti i vari programmi si equivalgono più o meno

eh si il norton è proprio un bel mattone devi cancellarlo del tutto dal pc manco puoi chiudere il processo o disattivarlo completamente... è il vero virus

dopo che l'ho tolto mi saranno scomparsi una dozzina di processi cmq quelli che consiglio sono nod32 e avast, il primo soprattutto... il negozio lo conoscete tanto

ma che avst era quello dei tests??? spero la versione base... dato che fa ca**re e la danno gratis...ma se è la versione pro...mi cade proprio in basso!!!!

i test sono stati fatti con avast pro, puoi controllare stesso tu dal sito scritto nel mio post precedente

volevo fare una domanda, premetto che io ho solo usato sempre norton come antivirus, ho letto gli ultimi post, e da quello che sembra è meglio di altri il NOD32, ma fa tutto? voglio dire, il firewall è integrato, oppure bisogna avere un altro programma per bloccare gli attacchi? attualmente i miei attacchi vengono bloccati da l'internet worm di norton, e poi il NOD2 dove lo trovo???

il nod32 è solo un antivirus non funge anche da firewall, lo puoi trovare nei soliti negozi
