How to watch Norway Chess 2024 tournament in live stream
The 2024 edition of Norway Chess begins this Monday, May 27, in Stavanger, featuring both Open and Women’s tournaments with the most prestigious international players. Both competitions follow the same format and offer equal cash prizes.
Taking place from May 27 to June 7 at the local SR Bank, each tournament features a selection of six players competing in a double round-robin system. The time control is set at 120 minutes with a 10-second increment starting from move 41. The winners of each round will be determined by the game system. In the event of a draw in the classical game, the winner will be decided in an Armageddon game.
