attenzione: si intende 3mbps in UPLOAD non in download...comunemente le nostre linee adsl hanno una capacità di upload abbastanza limitata

io infatti intendevo con 3,10,100 mbps in upload, sto parlando di linee aziendali/enti/università/etc, non delle nostre pulciosissime adsl casalinghe (agogno un po di up in piu da sempre, e cmq i vecchi Fastweb in fibra hanno banda simmetrica di 10mbps, quindi, potenzialmente, anche 10mbps in up con down a 0).

Volevo appunto sapere di quanta banda necessita in UPLOAD un server che vuole distribuire uno streaming (a circa 350 kbps di bitrate) a circa 100 client via P2P.

Azz , tra poco devo consegnare e forse sto facendo un errore madornale:

io sapevo che si stavano delle differenze tra scrivere Kbps (kilobyte per secondo) e kbps (kilobit per secondo) ma leggendo un articolo di altrocnosumo sulle adsl italiane ho visto che usa in maniera totalmente arbitraria kbps,Kbps,mbps,Mbps... a volte usa le minuscole a volte le maiuscole....
Ma cambia qualcosa tra Kbps e kbps, tra Mbps e mbps? cioè io con FW ho una linea a (preso direttamente dal sito) 6 Mbit/s quindi sarebbero 6mbps o 6 Mbps? e in upload ho 512 Kbps o 512kbps?

In questa frase parla di Kbps (quindi kilobyte e non kilobit giusto?) e di M (megabyte o megabit?)?
Quindi una linea di 6 mbit/s quanti Mbps sono?

Quando si tratta di linee di telecomunicazione si parla sempre di bit, quindi gli upload di 6 megabit.

voglio strimmare un video wmv, clicco su start ma dopo un pò che dice server running poi mi dà l'errore: SERVER STOPPED [AUTHENTICATION FAILED]
