ho installato ubuntu...ma come posso fare per avviare il pc con windows xp?

appena accendi il pc dovresti poter scegliere il sistema operativo da utilizzare

ma quando mi posiziono su windows xp e pigio enter mi dà errore..ora riavvio il computer e ti dico l'errore.Grazie

Quando avvio il pc mi dice:
other operating systems:
Microsoft windows Xp home edition..premo enter e..

Error 12: invalid device requested press an key to continue

inoltre su ubuntu vedo sola il disco dove è installato (circa 1,5 gb) e non vedo altro.Grazie dell'aiuto.

la situazione si complica...ma credo sia risolvibile. c'è stato qualche errore di root.
qui http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=331207 si parla proprio del tui problema.
direi di postare qui il risultato di questo http://ubuntuforums.org/showpost.ph...510&postcount=2 e attendere qualcuno che sia esperto di ubuntu
