Vedere lo Streaming sulla TV

Salve a tutti, ho compreato 1 cavo per collegare il mio pc (sul quale ho 1 Ati X700 Pro) al mio TV Plasma(palasonic VIERA) per vedere in streaming i video. Il cavo è un HDMI/DVI + cavo audio... solo che non riesco a configurare la scheda madre vorrei poter avere sul monitor del pc la risoluzione 1024x748 e sul TV la 1280x... solo che non riesco sapete se è possibile? COme devo settare la scheda?
