Scusate ma a cosa serve?
che cosa vuol dire Anti root kit?
Avendo gia un antivirus ed un antispyware bisogna installarlo?
Non vanno in conflitto?

i rootkits sono degli attrezzini che servono per nascondere diverse minacce per il comp. tipo virus ed altra robetta. un anti rootkit e´un coadiuvante dei vari programmi antimalware, spyware, adware et antivirus.............

Rootkits are used to hide the presence of a malicious object like trojans or keyloggers on your computer. If a threat uses rootkit technology to hide itself it is very hard to find the malware on your PC.

I rootkits son bestiacce che lavoran in silenzio e nemmeno te ne accorgi.Già il grande Russinovitch,tanto grande che zio Bill ha pensato bene l'anno scorso di embed in Microsoft,
è stato il primo a trovar rimedi.Vedi

grazi alma. domandina: ma avg antispyware è solo trial c'è anche free? l'antirootkit è free o trial?

ehm... adesso non vorrei prendermi i meriti... ma lo avevo segnalato io tempo fa...
@petrescu: è free! anche avg as ha una versione free, ma mi pare che puoi usare la protezione in tempo reale solo per 30 giorni!

@mamely: ti dico che non bastano antivirus e antispyware... i rootkit sono di tutt'altra natura... servono a modificare in maniera "oscura" alcune chiavi di registro */oltre agli effetti che ti hanno detto alma e corso/* per cui... BOOM! i rootkit sono nati da poco per windows... esi sono la causa principale di infezioni su un altro sistema operativo... LINUX! adesso si stanno diffondendo anche per windows!

ci sono diversi antirootkit, iol + efficace è ice swoprd, ma è praticamente inutilizzabile! Usate questo della grisoft che è abbastanza buono, e in poco tempo sono sicuro arriverà a livelli di ecellenza!

Visto che 'sti rootkits son proprio maligni,e più armi si hanno meglio è,segnalo anche quest'altro della Sophos.
