Scheda Video Vrirtuale - Parallels, VMWare etc...


Salve a tutti.
Ho una domanda: con Parallels o VMWare (o altri progs di virtualizzazione) è possibile creare una macchina virtuale che abbia una scheda video dedicata?
Mi spego meglio: con un MacBook la scheda video è integrata, ma io avrei necessità (per lavoro) di far girare un programma per windows che richiede una scheda video dedicata, pena la non attivazione di modelli 3D.
Sapete se è possibile creare, quindi, una macchina virtuale windows che abbia una scheda video dedicata con almeno 256 Mb di RAM?

la virtualizzazione interessava anche me, ma non per quello che intendevi tu.
Comunque dalla pagina wiki dedicata a VMware server leggo:
"Le macchine virtuali VMware forniscono solo suppporto sperimentale per l'acceleratore hardware 3D, tramite le API Direct3D 8 della Microsoft. Un video apparso su YouTube dimostra diversi giochi 3D che vengono eseguiti sotto VMware Fusion e Mac OS X."

Da quel che ho capito supportano solo in parte le schede grafiche 3d REALI, quindi temo che non sia possibile addirittura emularne una non reale.
La cosa l'ho intesa in questa maniera, prendila con le molle
Forse è meglio se aspetti il parere di qualcuno più esperto di me
