Microsoft E Sp3

......salve tutto il forum....ho un quesito da chiedere...
ho gli aggiornamenti non in automatico...decido io cosa e se installare...
ma ultimamente "MICROSOFT" continua a chiedermi di installare SP3....
sul pc ho SP2.....cosa mi si consiglia di fare???????
se devo formattare sul cd di ripristino ho SP2....mi crea dei problemi installare SP3?????????
attendo VS suggerimenti...
