visione a scatti

qualcuno mi da una mano?
con qualsiasi programma vedo a singhiozzo, compreso il collegamento diretto alle tv con media player o vlc.
ho già scansionato il pc con antivirus e antispy con esito negativo.
uso cfspeed 2.02 con adsl alice a 640 kb e windows xp con sp2.

devo forse settare qualcosa per riuscire a vedere un po' ?
