Giovanna, i live in Canada but I'm Italian, I'm here since 18 months and I did it for my canadian wife! We got a good life here.

This is just an example that people can do that, i got a friend from Rome and he did that too roughly eleven years ago, he's living in a city close mine here in Niagara falls.
